Humming boxes that can't be moved?

Mystery Boxes?

Well, that's the story I've been seeing, and yet I have to wonder, if these mystery boxes are popping up along the West Coast... and humming! Then why isn't Flickr, and Picasa and Facebook and Youtube full of pictures and even sound recordings and yes video of said boxes?

I've only seen two not very interesting pictures, and until I see something more concrete, lets say something as hard to move as these alleged boxes, (Or I or someone I trust spends a day at the beach!) I'm calling internet hoax on this.

  1. Only problem is... said researcher and Hatfeild Science Center is 20 miles from here, this story is local buzz enough they are sharing it my kid's classroom. I get your point, but I'm not convinced it's a hoax yet. :)

  3. Well, unlike UFOs or ghosts are other such things that are said to flit about, it seems to be this this one, with a camera and perhaps a stethoscope would be pretty easy to prove or disprove, they being said to just be setting there.

On the whole though it all kind of sounds like the first 15 mintues of a Syfy saturday night movie. Just waiting for Lou Diamond Philips and the FX crew to show up so the boxes can turn into a badly rendered giant robot.
